BOOM! BOOM!

I said at the beginning of the year I wanted to start my own business. It just occurred to me – I have! I registered all the little thingy-majiggies earlier this year and I’m working as a property consultant. I have had 3 months steady income since inception, how many new businesses sustain that? I have 2 consultancy contracts pending to cover me for the next 6 months. BOOM!

I just realised I’ve been looking at the situation from the wrong angle… All this time I’ve had what I wanted, my own Property Consulting Business.

**I’ve been watching too much Entourage

That's great Nat.
I think we have discussed this before that I work for a property developer on the Gold Coast.
But I too have wanted to go out on my own, so what exactly are you up to, so you can give me a few ideas of how to get out on my own?
you can email me at cameron@paceq.com.au if you like.

Perspective is a wonderful thing.

Does this mean you are going to have to re-jig the last few months of memories to accomodate this new development? (development meaning 'occurance' not 'skyscraper')

It's funny how you sort of come up with these ideas, but then just carry on with your life. Meanwhile, you're subconciuolsy laying all these foundations... and one day you stand back and look and realise you've built it. Well done Natalie. :)

Why does property need a consultant?

It's just a bunch of inanimate dirt with buildings on it...

Oh, wait, maybe it's a distressed property.

My bad!

Does that mean a property management or something else? I did a little stint with real estate people at the beginning of the year and (I hope this isn't offensive) most of them were unpleasant. The real estate sales people were truly, truly awful. That might just be Oddelaide, of course. The property management people, on the other hand, were unfailingly polite and sweet. But then my big bro was a commercial property guy and obviously I can't dis him 'cos I loves him and all. Sorry - three months with real estate types was enough to scare the pants offa me, but not enough to really get me into their jargon. Sorry :(
