Friday afternoon i escaped work around 4.30pm, not too shabby considering I had a 7:00am kick off, a 1 hour meting with a contractor over coffee followed by a 2 hour lunch with my current crush at The Slip Inn.
On my slow walk through the city I bumped into my Aunt who I haven't seen or spoken to for over 2 months due to a rift between her and my mum.
I met Cibby, Bec and Stephen for dinner, Korean food. I've never had Korean before, very tasty! An after dinner drink was a must, we went to a dodge pub with bogans, lasted one drink before heading to Equilibrium Hotel.
Saturday back to my routine of 2 hour gym class in the morning, then a 3 hour lunch with mum at Bondi Trat, lovely food, beautiful view over Bondi Beach but a little heavy on the price. I was home in enough time to fit in a late afternoon doze in front of the telly.
Saturday night at The Sheaf, it was PACKED! Seriously could. not. move through the crowd. It was A Traffic Light party - damn themed parties are driving me nuts! Red means, not interested, amber means maybe and green is all go ahead. I had totally forgotten the night had a dress code however I wore beige with dusty orange top, green eye make up and a red jacket. So typical female to send mixed signals.
The music was awesome, great funky beats, I was on the dance floor with C, I've FINALLY found a dancing girlfriend! YAY! My feet were sore but I soldered on, the music running through my body, I danced till close...
Sunday 9.30 gym class (ouch) followed by another long lunch at my wonderful friend D's new apartment, not too new she settled a month ago and Sunday was her house warming lunch, wow! What a place, views all out to Middle Harbour and typically my girlfriend and I lent over the balcony (almost falling over) to see the Big Bad Bridge.. Time just flew! I had to run to meet Cibby and Bec for the double feature at The Chauvel.
