Musings over Brekkie

Why are there so few women in my industry? And why do the women that attend these industry seminars all play ‘dress-up as a man?’

Intelligence and confidence is really sexy, even when it comes in an older, short balding package

Doltone House is one spectacular venue and the food, breakfast was sensational, I ate so much, yummy yum yum!

It’s really disappointing, not one good looking man in a group of 100+

Why was I seated next to a random guy with a breathing problem? (I don’t know what’s worse noisy breathing or slurping food)

I decided to walk a little through the area instead of just waiting for a cab. I adore the area and I long to reside there

I had 2 coffees with breakfast; I’m now talking a million times faster then usual and bouncing around the office.

Do you like walking around Pyrmont? I guess new places are appealing... I got tired of the same ol' Pyrmont streets...

I thought you were in Real Estate? Up here, in Tropical Land, there are hardly any MALE R/E Agents. Does coffee really make you bounce around the room? It has no effect on me....who said that? Sorry, I thought someone was behind me :)

Cibby, you have to admit the area down by the water is beautiful and babes, I can’t afford where you now live Mr Money Bags ;-)

Scorps, real estate for 6 years, I’m still licensed, can pick up a sale whenever I want, but I work for a land developer now, huge difference! The senimar I went to this morning was for fire protection zoned in land sub-divisions, all property developers and some town planners.

Coffee sends me crazy! I try to stick to one a day in the morning. My last BF needed a coffee to sleep and made espresso at 0530 each day *bang bang bang* with the espresso machine, I almost killed him.

If I had too much coffee in the morning I am running to the dunny about 9 o'clock...for me it's like drinking liquid draino. ~grin~

Definitely breathing is more annoying. That's been a sore subject for me this week.

Very good point about women dressing up as men, and not just in your industry. You can still be feminine and kick arse!

The Urban Development Institute events in Qld always had hot women, dressed up in very feminine clothes with perfect hair and make-up (a hard thing to cope with at 7am if it is a breakfast event!). This was especially the case if it was a marketing specific presentation, since most of the women in the development industry work in marketing rather than the construction/development/policy side of things.

yes, it's true, I have moneybags, but, sadly, they're all empty.
