The House-sitting Challenge

I’ve house sat / dog sat on several occasions from a 5 day stint to 5 weeks. Sometimes I get lazy, cooking for one after a long day at work followed by a gym session then walking the dog is just too much so I make a dish that will last for 3 days or so, usually this is a high carb / high fat concentration (lasagna or alike), I come back home and I’ve put on weight. There was that one time at my girlfriends place it was 6kg because her scales were adjusted – heart attack moment (ironically this was at L’s place).

This tenure I wish to accomplish weight loss. I jumped, okay tenderly stepped onto the scales this morning: 61.5kg after brekkie. I went grocery shopping yesterday and purchased all healthy items, fish, salad stuff i.e lettuce and avocado since I don’t care for salad, juice and since I have a sweet tooth I bought fruit n’ spice English muffins (better than chocolate!).

I will continue to go to the gym as per my usual routine to which I didn’t keep last week due to this damn flu, I will walk the dog once a day for at least 20 minutes, I must walk to the bus stop each morning and night which was 8 minutes each way.

Will I get to my target of 58kg? I can hear myself in 2 weeks time ‘muscle weighs more than fat’.

Hell, I've been at the gym every other day for the past two weeks. It's gotten to the point where I'm trying not to go every day because I know that my body needs recovery time.
But my work out is more strength related than weight loss. Though I do spend 20 minutes running to warm up before lifting weights. The rush is addicting.
