Relaxing Night In

I generally don’t read magazines, I never purchase gossip rag's, I get my daily dose from nova news in the morning and every few months a major catch up over 3-4 hours while at the hairdressers.

Fortunately for me I’ve been lucky enough to get a free 6 month subscription to Harpers Bazaar, so last night before going to bed I curled up with the 2 latest issues.

Posh Beckham, love her or hate her, I really don’t give a damn, she’s deemed herself a fashion icon and married well. This issue goes into her daily life, I don’t care, not going to pretend to for a moment, I flicked pages, flick, flick, flick, not a decent thing to read, I was even disappointed with the lack of pretty pictures… If I paid $7.90 for that I would be disappointed.

The latest issue, with Kirsten Dunst, I can’t work out if she’s attractive or not? I’ve seen a few of her movies, I find her ‘non-offensive’ as an actress. I’m looking forward to her new movie (does that surprise anyone). I must say I really enjoyed looking at the fashion, I read a few articles and before I knew it I had in my mind 20 or so new outfits I could put together from my own wardrobe and all importantly go shopping for more.

Not a bad night if I do say so myself…

Ditto on para 1. Celebs's lives don;t interest me, I just look at the fashions and photography while getting my hair done.

As for Kirsten, I find her too annoying to decide if she's a good actress or not.

Kirsten can be hot, but then some movie will come out and it changes everything. I loved her in Virgin Suicides, not a fan of her Spiderman performance though.

Hmmmm... I am exactly the same about ol' Dirsten. Like in Elizabethtown... *yawn* of a flick she's an air hostess, but I dunno... it doesn't fly for me.

But that scene in Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind where she's playing trampoline on the bed in the skimpy top, no bra and panties... different story. :P

I love Kirsten - I think it was because I was such a big fan of Interview with the Vampire and so saw that about 50 billion times (err..okay I was 16!). I think she's quite a good actress -LOVED her in The Cat's Meow and The Virgin Suicides. But she definitely has that 'annoying' quality going on too.

I admit, I'm a gossip whore. I don't buy them anymore but I do stand at the cash register going through the NW and laughing my head off, oh yes. If someone has a bit of dirty gossip to tell me about KFed or Britany then ..hell, I got a couple of moments to listen to that! Posh repulses me with everything she does and wears - I'll listen to a bit of gossip about her too. :)

I prefer the bitchcraft over at Go Fug Yourself to the mags. The Fug Girls are funnier.

I think Kirsten is nas-tay! I was nauseated all through Spiderman - she looked more like Peter Parker's aunt rather than a high school girl.

bleaugh!

CB, you're a woman after my own heart

Egan, I'll have to watch Virgin Suicides

Ant, I really enjoyed Eternal Sunshine, she was great in that one

GB - Elizabethtown, what a bore, the only half decent thin about the movie was a climpse of the ol' American road trip

Fair enough on the bed jumping scene

M - I'll have to see The Cat's Meow, I've wanted to get it on DVD several times, but my friends didnt have any interest :-(

The supermarket checkout is another one for me. Did you hear KFed's lastest nickname? Fed-Ex. Love it!!!

Treespotter, i'm not a fan of Keira at all. funny mouth and she needs to use it more to consume food

mushroom, noted, must see Virgin Suicides.

redcap - i love the fug girls too!

thanks marinamode :-)

Cibby, ahhh.. great, so happy to hear ;-)
