cause people are stupid when they're in *love/lust/like* - then it falls away and the hard shell of reality hits you in the face and you think "what the fuck?".
I don't think you can say something annoying about them is the thing you "loved the most" about them. Maybe something quirkly or different is the thing that you find annoying later on?
I'm overly critical. Little annoying things get to me from the START. Maybe that's a good thing :P
Because it's that thing that constantly reminds you it was the most endearing thing about them, now the magic has disappeared, and reality has come home to roost.
You either have to work past the hate to acceptance, or move on.

OK....we arn't talking about something physical ehere are we? because the physical things that attract me never wear thin :)
Scorpy I think she is asking us to look beyond the tight bum, long legs and beautiful...erm...assets ~grin~
I have no idea, maybe because "cute and endearing" becomes "ugly and annoying"?
It's because, young lady, most people are really annoying, but everyone is all rose-tinted glasses'd up at teh start.
I am always stunned when the rose coloured glasses fall off. I turn to my friends and ask them why didnt they tell me!!!!
Scorps, I'd expect a comment like that form you ;-) but Indy is right...
Indy, annoying is just the ticket
Adam, I agree! So many people annoy me. Where can I trade in my glasses?
Mia, I wish my friends would tell me, but then again...?

err..not that I'm jaded in any way at all. ;)
M - hehehe.. I could've wrote that! Have a good weekend :-)
Then again ......my rose coloured glasses seem to come with ear muffs. ~hugs~
Mia - mine too.. Okay just go thte image of those novely glasses with the big nose and moustache :-P
what's the endearing trait? Grunting in non-sexual situations?
Tipping poorly?
Stealing napkins?
i'm thinking something really naughty now, i shouldn't say this.
they're all nice, really.
I don't believe it happens if the quality is chosen carefully enough. :)
I'm fine without the moustache thanks! ~grin~

It depends what it is. Some traits are fleeting, others ARE annoying but we overlook them.
I like to think what attracts us first to someone are qualities we seek within ourselves.

i second the 'blinded by the rose coloured glasses' comment. You can't always see what's there when you're in love or lust.
