I've Got Sunshine

Date night. Yes, Saturday is renowned as 'date night' and after too many months I actually had a date for date night.

We met last weekend, I gather he is a 3 day rule man. We planned for dinner.

Drinks for starters while entertaining a little get to know you better chit chat and deciding on the cuisine for the night.

We went for dinner, he suggested a bottle of wine to share (score!). We all know I'm a prime target for advertising with a 'tasty treat' on the menu I had to have it. Little fishies with their eye's staring up at us. Not at all what we expected...

Conversation was blissfully easy, he's intelligent, polite, well traveled and attraction (score!).

After dinner we went to a nearby bar for another drink. I felt oblivious to the surrounding crowd.

1am was fast approaching, how time flies. The car park was closing, he offered to walk me to my car (score!), I showed my appreciation by offering a lift home.

He jumped in my car, I usually have a standard disclaimer not allowed to judge my music. He said 'Otis Redding? Can I put on my favourite song?'. I'm always surprised when someone actually knows who Otis Redding is, seriously going well in my books.

We kissed good night, a kiss I can still feel... A kiss I long to feel again.

I made it known I would like to see him again. Wednesday night. He has offered to cook me dinner, or laugh at him trying to cook something.

I'm looking forward to it.

* Screw the deal breakers - he's younger and shorter than me. He goes my a mono-syllabic name.

To the real question: "does he have a quick and imaginitive brain!?!" Who knows he may keep you thinking so much that you do not have time to notice how tall he is.

I always enjoy reading your escapades. Perhaps we will read more of your encounters.

The younger thing shouldn't be a deal breaker...

As for his height, if I remember right you're not short, and he can't help genetics... ;-)
