what's up with Snapple? You can't get it anymore? Man, I love snapple, especially the peach stuff.
I miss nanaimo bars. It's a chocolate-crumbly base, then a layer of peppermint filling, then a later of hard chocolate. No, it's not a peppermint slice.
Cibby, no snapple :-( haven't had oe since I was in Hawaii 2 years ago - if you know any vendors in Sydney please let me know.
nanaimo bars never heard of them, is a mint slice second best?
clarue - Redskins HAVE changed and not for the best, still gooey goodness but but the same.
War Heads, WOW I remember them! I loved the lemon ones
mushroom - munch munch munch munch... munch on muncheros... One of my friends had never heard of them. I broke into song and received the eye brow raise!
I miss being a child without worries and having my parents young and strong, take care of me, instead of seeing them getting old and frail and sick. Sorry... bad morning.
cBabe - so sorry to hear babes. smile! I'm sure your parents take care of you in other ways now... The sun is shinning and maybe a slurpy will make it all better?
scorpy - sex! I said childhood! How young were you? I miss having no responsibilities, playing in the street after dark, running to the corner store getting a bag of lollies for 5cents
Sorry Miss Nat I did not read the Header LOL I miss going on long adventurous treks, with my mates, thru the bush hunting rabbits and kangaroos (Never got any though) or running down to the lake to go fishing and crabbing. No parents in sight!
I miss my childhood days where I would travel all around the world with my family and their money..hehe..Kids nowadays are too preoccupied of growing up. They shuld keep the pace to a minimal. Anyways..love the blog. I'll keep on reading!
Golden roughs, milko's and spearmints, playing until dark, pyjama's with feet, sun burns, someone else cooking me dinner every night, crawling into my parents laps, sunny boy frozen triangle ice block things, chocolate buds (20 for 20 cents), totally munchero's, fads (or pre pc fags), breaka's.
I think this indicates I liked my childhood. Oh and I like food, obviously.
Jane Phillips bringing my lunch each day. She would sit next to me and feed me a sandwich quarter by quarter. Then I could chuck out my awful fritz and sauce sambos.
My mum used to have an orange trenchcoat coloured and decorated in a similar fashion to the Muncheros packaging. Needless to say, it got nicknamed the Muchcheros coat.
I miss wagon wheels, not the miniature things you can get now, but the big chocolatey biscuits that were just the best. I also miss chasing girls around the playground, playing handball with mates at recess and lunch and playing brandings, hehe (tennis balls were so versatile!)
Foodwise... Remember those "Mamee" instant noodle snacks? They were great! I don't even know if you can still get them, I haven't looked. Hmm! New shopping agenda for tomorrow! haha

aw man that much a muncheros ad used to stay in my head FOREVER. In fact now I have the song in my head!!!
Oh man. I'd kill for a Munchero right now.
I can't even remember what they look or taste like.
Muncheros were probably like stale Cheezels, a bit. Little orange curly things, but not Twisties.. they were harder.
And you can totally still get Iced Vo-Vos! Dot used to buy them all the time (she's moved on to scotch fingers now).
I miss... Wicked Sticks. They were a blue icy pole choc dipped half way with nuts in the chocolate. Only 50cents at the canteen back in 1990!
I too miss the carefree days where someone else thought about paying the bills.
