Triva night at the local R-ey (RSL) hosted by Marto from Nova 96.9, I was signed in by an old high school teacher, we made our way through the club there were various meat trays spread across the stage in the main bistro hall.
There we were standing in the line to collect our $7 roast/chicken schnitzel commenting that this is ‘so us’ where really it is so far from us it is just perfection…
We had our meat tray raffle tickets in hand eating our dinner drinking our $13 bottle of red, trading our orange vegies (my pumpkin for her carrots), playing scenarios of trading sausages for chops in the car park at the end of the night. A look into the future, in 40 years we will most likely be doing the same thing!
Love trivia nights, we have decided it will be a new Thursday night tradition, we will use our alcohol soaked brains at least once a week. Oh, and the best part, our ‘team name’ was It puts the lotion on its skin and we had chicken today we are googling the best aerodynamic paper air planes!

Winning is a state of mind. And chicken can be delicious if done well. It's all in the preparation, and the correct choice of wine with the meal.
