Ever had a meal and said “I’m never eating again!”? I echoed those words on 3 occasions over the last 4 days, inevitable to say I always went back for more good food.
Friday night I enjoyed the company of some of my greatest friends in Prague, the restaurant, not the city ;-) what a delectable feast it was Kombinace smaženého sýru, květáku a žampionů servírované s domácí tatarskou omáčkou - crumbed Edam Cheese, Cauliflower and Mushrooms, Main Svíčková na smetaně s houskovým knedlíkem zdobená citronem, šlehačkou a brusinkami – just like my Babushka makes, a mix of desserts Jablečný závin s oříšky a šlehačkou and Plněné ovocné knedlíky s tvarohem
For a moment on Friday night I looked around at my guests and thought, this is it. I don’t need anything else when I surround myself with such wonderful people.

Saturday, my birthday was well received, lovely text messages and phone calls from friends and family, lots of pressies and a long 3 and a half hour lunch at Swell, Bronte (thanks Julia for the recommendation!), after lunch, when my sister arrived and my aunt promptly left we all went for a leisurely walk to see Sculpture by the Sea… A big meal and a walk along the cliffs, does life get much better?
Sunday I figured I had eaten way too much and went to the gym, 9.30am on a Sunday, there were so many people there? My mind boggles. I met a girlfriend for coffee after lunch and went to the soccer in the afternoon.
One of the best weekends ever, only downfall, it’s my first birthday since I can remember that I didn’t get any action….
