Monumental Events of the Past Week

I went to The Clock Hotel with a girlfriend and didn’t consume a drop of alcohol.

*****************************************************************

I was supposed to go away with M last weekend, to Mudgee for a dirty romantic get away. I cancelled; I’m not going to fake enthusiasm for the occasion.

*****************************************************************

I had a house warming to attend last Tuesday night and totally out of my nature I wrote the address incorrectly, so there I was calling my former work colleagues for the address (no answer) so I was driving around Bellevue Hill trying to identify one their cars, I gave up and half hour later I find it was right next door to a building I used to manage.

*****************************************************************

I received an email from a mother fucking cock sucking cunt, AKA the on-site sales person, personal attack on my experience in real estate, I’ve met briefly twice and had half a dozen conversations; he doesn’t know a thing about my history or qualifications. People who throw stones shouldn’t live in glass houses, he is a commission only agent and EVERY sales lead comes through me… HA! I hold a licence more then him and I’m approximately 25 years younger - Go fuck yourself you wanker!

*****************************************************************

I had dinner with one of my girlfriends, one of my girlfriends I regard as my strongest. She told me over dinner she has been on anti-depressants for over 5 months; she felt absolutely everything in her life was falling around her. We cried together over our corn chips and salsa.

*****************************************************************

I had a Chimichanga for the first time, only so I can say Chimichanga and of course so I can write on my blog “I had a Chimichanga”

*****************************************************************

Julia and I have planned our joint Birthday Party, our theme this year… It will be sexy, that’s all.

*****************************************************************

I saw Little Miss Sunshine, really enjoyed it. I was giggling most of the way through it. I’m surprised the last 4 movies I’ve seen I’ve really enjoyed.

*****************************************************************

I have a huge secret, I told one of my girlfriends last week over a glass of wine, I’m keeping it very quite so this way if it fails no-one will really know it’s a failure.

*****************************************************************

I received sad news, my cousin’s little baby (little, as I remember him) died in Czech Republic last Tuesday, he was 21 months old.

*****************************************************************

On my way out of the office last Wednesday I feel down the stairs, people would usually point out that’s what I get for wearing 4” stilettos, but I stepped on a Pepsi bottle top and lost balance, knee and ankle buckled. Who drinks Pepsi?

*****************************************************************

I was at Couples World last week during my lunch break; I couldn’t bare to go there on the weekends! While I was sitting eating my lunch I burst into tears when this song came on!

*****************************************************************

Being at the races on Melbourne Cup day took me back to my old life, the people, the lifestyle…

*****************************************************************

For the first time since I commenced this job I woke up and didn’t want to come in. Not related to above comments from the cock sucking real estate agent

*****************************************************************

Every time I go on-site I go through Milton to stop by the best pie shop, this week they didn’t have 3 of my favourite pies.

*****************************************************************

I flicked on Girls of the Playboy Mansion for a couple of minutes last night – no comments. Mother said to me “if you ever decide to be a playboy bunny you’re moving out” wrong on so many levels

*****************************************************************

I went for a bike ride on Sunday afternoon, it was the first time on a motorbike, what a beautiful piece of machinery it is, an exquisite BMW R1200. It’s huge news for me, I’ve had 3 men tell me they would take me for a ride and it never eventuated. Now I can cross “Go on a motorbike” off my list, it wasn’t exactly the sun on my skin, cool breeze through the hair experience I envisaged. It was raining.

*****************************************************************
I’ve been invited to a party in early December, Sabre boy will also be there, this will be the first time I’ll see him since our last night together. So, this I have only a few weeks to look damn hot!

*****************************************************************

To lighten up the week, I laughed at this, I mean I really laughed.

A party with the theme of sexy, is too broad a tease...please elaborate.

I thought 'Chimichanga' made shoes LOL. I agree with Indy...there are many levels of Sexy and we won't details and photos (or an invite). Mudgee is now a 'Romantic' spot? It used to be a fuel stop between Sydney and Nowhere LOL. Anti-Depressants aren't that BAD - They are the devils tablets and would strongly recommend anyone on them to ditch them pronto!!!!! (Personal Experience.

Boys, if you were in Sydney on the weekend of 25th November you'd get an invitation ;-)

Indy, photo's will come (maybe on request)

Scorpy, Chimichanga: food, Jimmy Choo: Shoes - not far off ;-)

Mudgee for the vineyards, I’ve never been wine tasting there and i can make any destination romantic ;-)

I'll pass on concern to my friend re: Anti-Depressants. Thanks.

Little Miss Sunshine is my new favouritist movie. Don't waste your money on Boystown. Oh dear God, what an abomination!!

Indiana said...

Consider this my request :-)

Steph, i thought it was one of the best movies i've seen in the longest time. I went based on yours and Cibby's reviews :-) My mum wants to see Boystown, thanks for the heads up.

Indy, okay, but you know my usual drill ;-)

wasn't little miss sunshine a pleasant surprise? How about the dance at the end to Rick James? Classic!

And Indians doing Thriller? What the hell!?

I also like to say Chimichanga. Changa changa changa

Indiana said...

Ahhh No I don't...

Doll Face said...

Cibby, the dance was fantastic! I laughed so much. I was really concerned about little Olive with all those little princess'

Thriller, what next hey?

I'm happy i'm not alone with the Chimichanga, its beeter than saying Haverous Ranchos - speaking of which, we must have one for brekkie one of these days :-)

Indy, yes you do. Most of my photos are uploaded once the first page has expired...

Wow. Crazy week.

Chimichangas are the shit. I had one just before we went away and it rocked my world.

Anti-depressants are a much trickier issue. They work for some people, don't work for others, and I personally think work best in conjunction with sorting stuff out. Best of luck to your friend.

I'm really sorry to hear about your cousins little boy. That kind of news breaks my heart.

I can't believe you've never had a chimichanga before! Crap, aren't they?

Please go see Borat. I think you'll get a really good laugh.

Nat, I did the map thing last year but can't find it in my posts. Why did you go to UAE? Shopping?

Helluva week babe!! Here's hoping next week is so much better for you.

GB - who'd ever think nachos would be such a great comfort food?

So we have something in common hey? Who wants to be known as a failure? Not me!

Your b'day is 20th Nov? Ohhhh.. how old ya turnin'?

Chesty, It was a chocka block week. Chimichangas.. Hmmmm.... Yummm *insert homer simpson drool*

Thank you for your kind words for Matik.

Sarah, I loved it, yummo! Talking to a few of my frienda and they haven't heard of a Chimichanga.

Walter, i'm planning to see it, thanks for the recommendation.
Scorpy, do you really think the reason i went to UAE was to go shopping? Seriously? My little dream to be a property developer would have to start as a project mangaer/construction manager - where better than Dubai? I did however do a hell of a lot of shopping while there but that was just a by product ;-)

Nick, it wasn't such a bad week

I loved Little Miss Sunshine too!

I'm becoming such a big fan of Steve Carell these days. I haven't seen The 40 Year Old Virgin yet, but I loved him in LMS, and in The American Office.
