Well, I had plans to meet the pleasant health conscious vegetarian last night, I cancelled, I called at 6.30pm and said I wouldn’t be able to make it due to commitments – rude, very rude I know.
I just wasn’t motivated, I felt like crap and even though I dressed with the view of going out after work (after a fashion preview too) I felt I looked crappo.
I made the mistake of telling my mother I had a date, big mistake, huge (very ‘pretty woman’ going shopping). She assumed he canceled and asked me ‘what is it you’re doing wrong? Every time you meet a man and arrange a subsequent date it never eventuates’
What did I do instead of meeting him? I washed my hair – not kidding, really.

I hope you washed her comment right out of your hair! :P
I sure did...
That was a commercial/jingle 'you gotta wash that *something* right out of *something*' ????
I'm so proud of you...you finally used the "commitments" line....well done LOL
Natalie you could have just told him the truth, that you wanted to stay home and watch The Footy Show. LOL
I haven't dated for nearly a year now, and the scary part is, that i don't miss it ONE BIT.
Thanks Scorps ;-)
GB - I don't think 'hey buddy, i'm really not that interested in seeing you tonight, its just too much effort, i'd rather stay home and wash my hair' would go down to well.. Your opinion?
Steph - Some of the 'in relationship' stories i've been hearing lately is the biggest deterrent to having one if ever there was one...
