I Want One NOW!

All I want to do is get behind the wheel of one of these beauties and Fang (Juan-Manuel Fangio) it around for a few hours.

I miss that '95 Porsche 993 red convertible :-(

Hey! I didn't know that's where "Fang" came from.

Mirror, Mirror, my source for all obscure facts.

Mon Dieu, Natalie, we live in two different worlds!

I had a little toy Porsche once. It was silver.

ohhh Natalie, what an interesting picture your blog builds of you...I wonder how close it is to the real you?

There comes a time when you have to say good-bye to the sportscar desire, and for me that happened about the same time I realised it wouldn't carry 2 SCUBA tanks and a girlfriend.

Thanks Wombat! There’s so much useless information bouncing around in my head...

Cibbuano, I have a little blue AC Cobra, with surf board purchased in Hawaii - It's not a different world, it’s my past life.

Indiana - It's all me, the real me. I miss what the car represented... (No, it’s not materialistic)

I'm REALLY missing my old '95 Porsche 993 red convertible :-(

for real? you had a 993? I bet you drove it hard too! I can just picture you darting in between lanes of slow traffic, lighting up the Pirellis as the traffic lights change. FWOOOOAAAAARRRR!!!! ;)

I don't know why but I was never a fan of Porsche. RWD and a rear mounted engine? Eurgh!

I may just be being partisan here but I've always had a thing for Marcos (check out the Aus-only TSO-GT2 under Clipsol 500) and Noble's new M15 is gorgeous!

Plus, Indy's wrong on the cylinders and GF bit. A mate had a TVR and could fit twin 12 litre ones and all the other bits along with the wife in his.

GB - for real! Didn't drive it too hard, too scared to scuff it *blush*

Dusty - I love anything that has power, control and style. I've been a fan of the Noble since I discovered it ;-) Porsche has a bit of meaning to me... As for Indy's reasoning - I don't dive and 'a partner' would usually have a more sensible car :-P

So like, this is a car, right? And you like, can sit in it, and go places and stuff?

:-P

(Guess who isn't a car person, haha. Hell, I drive a goddamn Cappuccino for heaven's sake!)

Nah, looks sexy. I just can't rationalise that sort of money for a car. :-( DAMN ME AND MY LOGIC! I SHOULD HAVE BEEN BORN A VULCAN!

Oh good god could you sound more pretentious -

"I'm REALLY missing my old '95 Porsche 993 red convertible :-(

Yes, life is hard isn't it?

Reverend - Cappuccino - HOW MUCH FUN are they! Spent a couple days behind the wheel of one of those!

Don't go anonymous - show your identity! you got something to say about my lifestyle, say it! I know who i am and no, i'm not pretentious!

Thanks mr xcaped, I was a lucky lady for more than one reason in relation to that car!

Not pretentious?

I personally would describe outlining your many 'designer' clothes, the multiple older intelligent 'millionaires' who are fighting each other to date you, your career which makes you very fabulous and wealthy and smart, the many and varied cars (which you've yet to prove you actually have/had) and how many "hot spot" bars and clubs you've been to this week as pretentious.

And even quite sad, posturing and pathetic.

But hey, you write your thing I'll write my thing.

For somebody who is not forthcoming with their identity you sure do have a lot to say...
