You're mum hit the nail on the head...a woman with interests means she won't rely on us to keep her entertained all the time, she will be happy to let us have "I time" because she will want time for her pursuit...added to which a woman who is passionate about her interest suggests she is capable of passion in other areas ~grin~
OK, not to disagree with your mum, but you do have interests. Hell, I haven't even met you and can tell that you have interests: food, wine, cars, the opera, travel - just to name a few.

In general babes, I would never be so bold as to venture force on such a futile and life-ending quest as to suggest that you are anything other than well rounded, interesting and full of passion and zest for life...I would be too scared. ~wink~

That's a pretty... interesting... thing for a mother to say, though. Surely she must know you HAVE interests. Maybe that was her subtle way of disapproving? If so, how rude. :-P

CB, mother will never see this blog :-0 she firmly believes what she said, she brought it up again last night - join a golf club or alike, yea right...
nick, she's implying a sporting club, social outlet etc... I was belly dancing and boxing last year and that didn't meet her approval!?!?!
